At Sweet Jays, your satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind the quality of every product we offer and want you to be fully happy with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which we accept returns, process refunds, & handle exchanges. By making a purchase through Sweet Jays, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
This policy applies to ALL purchases made directly through www.sweetjays.com.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
The item must be returned within 14 calendar days of the delivery date
The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it
The item must be in its original packaging with all tags, seals, and labels intact
You must have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)
The item must not be listed as non-returnable (see Section 6 below)
Items that have been opened, used, damaged by the customer, or are missing original packaging will not be accepted for return unless the product arrived defective or damaged.
How to Initiate a Return
To begin the return process, follow these steps:
Contact our support team at orders@sweetjayjay.com within 14 days of receiving your order
Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return
Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions and, if approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
Package your item securely, clearly label the package with your RMA number, and ship it to the return address provided in our email
We recommend using a trackable shipping method — Sweet Jays is not responsible for lost return packages
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
Do not ship returns without first obtaining an RMA number — unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender.
Section 4 — Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. If your return is approved, a refund will be initiated to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days. Please note:
Credit card refunds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product)
If you received free shipping on your original order, the standard shipping cost will be deducted from your refund total
Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations (e.g., item not in original condition, item returned after the 14-day window at our discretion)
Section 5 — Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged upon arrival, or if the wrong item was shipped. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, email us at support@sweetjayjay.com with:

Photo evidence of the defect or damage (if applicable)
We will work with you to send a replacement at no additional charge once the issue is verified. If the exact item is no longer in stock, we will offer a store credit or full refund.
Section 6 — Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
Opened or used consumable products (including any edible or ingestible items)
Perishable goods
Digital downloads or downloadable content
Gift cards and store credit
Items purchased during final sale events or with non-refundable discount codes
Items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
Customized or personalized products made to order

Section 7 — Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at orders@sweetjayjay.com. Include:

A clear description of the damage or defect

We will prioritize your case and offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion:
a full refund, a replacement product shipped at no cost to you

We may request that you return the damaged item at our expense.
Section 8 — Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the timeframe outlined above, please take the following steps:
Check your bank or credit card account again — processing times vary by institution
Contact your credit card company — it may take several business days for the refund to officially post
Contact your bank — there is often some processing time before a refund shows
If you have done all of the above and still have not received your refund, contact us at support@sweetjayjat.com with your order number and we will investigate immediately
Section 9 — Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product): Sweet Jays will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you
If the return is for any other reason (change of mind, ordered wrong size, etc.): the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
Shipping costs are non-refundable in cases where the customer is responsible for the return
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for high-value returns. Sweet Jays cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking confirmation.
Section 10 — Store Credit
As an alternative to a cash refund, you may request store credit for the value of your return.

Section 11 — Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placement by contacting Orders@sweetjayjay.com. After 1 hour, orders enter our fulfillment process and cannot be cancelled. If your order has already shipped, you will need to follow the standard return process after delivery. For pre-orders or back-ordered items, cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the estimated ship date.
Changes to This Policy
Sweet Jays reserves the right to modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
